Get Golf Ready Part 1
Join other WCGA members who are “non-golfers” or just returning to the sport for a six-week series of small group lessons with an experienced instructor – for the last class, you’ll be playing on the course. For $149, you get six weeks of lessons with each class lasting 60 minutes.

WCGA members will get the basics of the golf swing and short game shots. Learn golf rules, golf etiquette, history of the game and how to play on the course! USE OF EQUIPMENT AND PRACTICE BALLS INCLUDED IN CLASS FEE.

Golf Clinics – 6 Personalized Lessons

Option 1: When: Monday, May 21-July 2 (skip Memorial Day) @ 6:30pm-7:30pm. with Cory. Online registration for this private class.
Corey returns to The Golf DC Academy after recently working as Director of player development for the Institute of Golf in Wellington New Zealand, where he focused on building player performance programs with a holistic approach. Before this he was Lead Instructor at Golf DC Academy from 2008-2014 and prior to that he was Director of Instruction at Compass Pointe golf courses. Corey has been focused within the art and science of golf instruction since he qualified as a PGA professional in 1997. Corey enjoys working with golfers of all ages and experience
levels and his passion for coaching comes from being a part of the
successes of his students, setting and achieving their personal goals.

Option 2: When: Saturday, May 19-June 30 (skip Memorial Day weekend) @ 9am-10am with Linda Online registration for this private class.

Option 3: When: Saturday, May 19-June 30 (skip Memorial Day weekend) @ 10am-11am with Linda Online registration for this private class.

Linda joined GolfDC Academy in April 2014 with over 25 years golfing experience. She is Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified which focuses on how the most common swing characteristics and loss of swing efficiency are directly connected to how the body is functioning. Linda is a volunteer mentor with DC teens in foster care, a Senior Government Consultant, and a retired U.S. Army officer who is passionate for the game of golf. Linda teaches both group and private lessons.
